Meet Dr. Benjamin Vallon
Dr. Ben grew up in Rockland County, New York, and today proudly serves families throughout Dutchess County. His path into chiropractic was not something he originally planned, but looking back, the signs were there early.
As a child, Dr. Ben was always curious about how the body worked and why people experienced certain health challenges. In fact, one of his earliest school assignments captured that curiosity. He remembers writing, “I want to be a feelings doctor like my dad, who’s a psychologist.” While the career looked a little different years later, the heart of that idea remains the same today. Helping people feel better and function at their best.
Discovering Chiropractic
Dr. Ben attended SUNY Buffalo and graduated in 2013 with a degree in early childhood education. After college, he briefly worked in media buying in Manhattan. While the experience taught him valuable lessons, he quickly realized it was not the career path he wanted.
The turning point came when a chiropractor gave a presentation at his mother’s workplace, a nursing home. After hearing the talk, she encouraged him to shadow the doctor and learn more about the profession. What started as curiosity quickly turned into clarity.
Education and Chiropractic Training
Inspired by that experience, Dr. Ben pursued chiropractic school at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic in March 2018.
During his training, he focused on neurologically based chiropractic care and hands-on techniques designed to help the body function more efficiently. He is advanced certified in Torque Release Technique and also utilizes a range of chiropractic approaches including Diversified Full Spine and Thompson Drop Table techniques. His training also includes spinal decompression therapy and SoftWave therapy, where he received additional instruction from industry expert Dr. Curtis Martin.

Building Driven Wellness
Life Beyond the Practice Walls
Outside of the practice, Dr. Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Melanie and their daughter, Lilah. He also likes golfing, cooking, and being outdoors. When he cooks, he prefers working with locally sourced ingredients and preparing meals on the grill, smoker, or cast iron. Traveling, road trips, and gathering with friends and family are some of his favorite ways to recharge.
Dr. Ben is currently expanding his professional education as well. He is working toward his medical level two certification through the Titleist Performance Institute, which focuses on evaluating movement patterns and helping golfers perform better through improved body mechanics.
